ShoreTel Australia Celebrates Success in 2014
We started the festive season in Australia with Christmas parties in Sydney and Melbourne as an opportunity to thank our partner community for their commitment to making 2014 another very successful year for ShoreTel. We have much to celebrate. Recapping 2014, our partners worked alongside ShoreTel to help us achieve solid year-on-year growth in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) against the backdrop of a flat market for UC and IP telephony. And ShoreTel continues to gain market share. In the report ‘Australian UC Market Report 2014’ industry analyst firm Frost & Sullivan named ShoreTel as a dominant UC player steadily increasing its footprint by securing customers in the medium and large enterprise segment locally.
The ShoreTel partner community in ANZ has won business across all verticals, in particular achieving strong win rates in the local government sector in Australia, winning an average of 2 in 3 tenders in 2014.
We are excited about the new calendar year which will bring changes that reflect our commitment to growing the local business and increasing our support for the channel. ShoreTel is investing in additional local headcount to increase the support we offer our partners, which is critical to the success of our 100% indirect go-to-market model.
ShoreTel has made a solid start to its fiscal 2015. I am extremely proud of what the ANZ region has accomplished and I look forward to continuing this momentum by working closely with our ANZ partners.
