Senior Vice President Of Worldwide Sales & Customer Success
David Petts joined Mitel in July 2012 and is the senior vice president of worldwide sales and customer success. Petts is responsible for leading all aspects of the customer lifecycle on a global basis, including go-to-market strategy, sales, customer success and support services. Petts also leads Mitel’s channel engagement and the Champion Partner Program, along with enablement and operational programs.
Prior to joining Mitel, Petts held a number of executive management roles at Nokia, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Compaq (acquired by HP in May 2002). Those roles included SVP Global Sales, Marketing & Services – Enterprise Solutions at Nokia. As well as VP Software – Americas; VP Industry Standard Servers - Americas; VP WW Marketing - PC Business and a number of other sales and sales leadership positions while at HP/Compaq.
Petts is originally from England, where he gained considerable European experience before moving to the US and gaining both Americas-wide and then global experience in numerous global roles.
He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and quantitative studies from Queen Mary College, London University.
