MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, September 28, 1998 - Shoreline Teleworks today announced that Stephen P. Mullaney has joined the company as vice president of marketing. Mr. Mullaney, 34, reports to Shoreline Teleworks President and CEO, John Fazio.
In the position of vice president of marketing, Mr. Mullaney is responsible for the development of strategic product and corporate marketing programs, jointly creating the marketing programs with the company’s value added reseller (VAR) partners and establishing the awareness and excitement for Shoreline Teleworks in the marketplace.

"He brings a unique blend of technical, marketing and channel experience to Shoreline – and as we take the lead in bringing the power and flexibility of data networking into voice communications, his extensive experience over the last 10 years in data communications will prove extremely valuable."
Before joining Shoreline Teleworks, Mr. Mullaney spent 10 years with SynOptics/Bay Networks in various engineering, product management and marketing positions. He most recently served as vice president of enterprise marketing, where he was responsible for marketing product families that contributed approximately $2 billion to Bay Networks’ 1998 total revenue.
Prior to Bay Networks, Mr. Mullaney spent four years as a design engineer with GTE Government Systems based in Mountain View, CA. He earned a B.S.E.E. degree with a focus in digital communication from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI.
